    Circus Bingo

Three guesses as to what the theme of this pretty little bingo site is? But the real question is of course – are we looking at a quality service provider, or are these guys just clowning around? Sorry, bad joke…but it was impossible to resist! Back to business, Circus Bingo has only been around since 2015 and so joined the market during a time when competition really couldn’t have been stronger. They’re still up and running as of 2016, so there’s obviously something solid on offer…but what? Casino Papa has the inside scoop…read on for more!

    Overview

As far as the folks at Circus Bingo, this really is the real deal and then some. ‘Online Bingo Done Better’, ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’ & ‘Online Bingo Done Better’ are just some of the rather bold lines they use to describe what they do and how the do it. But then again, you’re not going to get far telling folk you’re anything but the very best these days. So how does the Circus Bingo experience compare with rivals? Or better yet, can it stand up as a quality name in its own right?

    Site Summary

It all kicks off with a welcome from Pablo – a peanut with a moustache and top hat that also happens to be your guide/mascot. A Dragonfish site this may be, but to look at it you’d be forgiven for thinking it was powered by something completely new – it really doesn’t look or feel like anything else out there. Is this a good thing? Well, it certainly gives it uniqueness and there’s no denying it’s a cool, quirky and colourful theme – all off to a good start!
Now, one thing that does immediately grab your attention is the way in which page loading times aren’t all they might be. You’re not waiting an age, but switch to the casino from the bingo pages for example and it’s a bit sluggish. Given the fact that there were only 586 players online at the time we checked it out, it’s a bit on the slow side. The layout is a bit different to the norm, but we actually really liked it. It’s really easy to get where you need to be and the use of the sidebar is interesting. It’s likely to be one of those things you love or hate – all personal preference.

Upon joining, deposit £10 and you’ll be given the opportunity to pop Pablo’s nuts and win up to £5 in free bonus money. Other than this, there’s currently a welcome deposit match bonus offer of 500% available, meaning you credit your account with £10 and get £60 to play with. Wagering requirements are set at 4X, which is about the average for bingo sites these days. There’s a full 50 free spins up for grabs too – also subject to wagering requirements on winnings.
Over in the VIP section, depositing nothing will land you with Peanut status, up to £49 makes you a Ring Master, £50 to £199 and you’re a tightrope walker while £200+ makes you a lion tamer. The level you choose will determine which goodies come your way, including monthly cashback deals, tickets to high-jackpot events, free spins, free bingo and so on. Speaking of which, there are loads of totally free bongo games on the go most of the time, with prizes in the region of £1 – still not bad for a freebie. Also perfect for newcomers looking to learn the ropes.

They do mention a mobile app, but at the time of writing it still says it’s coming soon. Still, the mobile version of the website is pretty great on the whole. As for customer care, these guys go the whole hog by offering full 24/7 opening times across live chat, telephone and email services – the team when put to the test seems well above par.

If you’re looking for something a little different, probably the best thing about Circus Bingo in general is how the theme takes a step away from the norm. It’s very engaging and immersive on the whole and has clearly been put together by those with plenty of experience and savvy. The action is great and varied, the on-going promos are good and the customer care team is excellent.

In a nutshell, Circus Bingo scores highly in pretty much every key area and is therefore more than worth a visit. The welcome bonuses may not be great and player numbers may dwindle at quieter times, but if you can look past these slight niggles, then the rest of the package is solid and impressive. But then again, as a site that’s owned and operated by the iconic 888 Group, what else would you expect?

    Cons

    • The site’s actual performance can sometimes feel a little sluggish
    • Comparatively speaking, traffic volumes tend to be a little on the weak side
    • Wagering requirements for welcome bonuses are tricky to find

    Pros

    • It’s a great overall approach that’s unlike any other bingo site currently out there
    • Plenty of different bingo types and free games at all times
    • Instant access to other games and solid casino action
    • 24/7 customer support is available
    • No need to pay a penny to start playing for free
